If you go to your profile / Preferences / Account, the button should be at the bottom
Hm, its not there. Well I read about it and it had some specifications like being a young account and not having many posts, but is there any alternative to still have it deleted?
Now I read about it and it turned out you canât delete your account once you posted on the forum. Before I wrote my previous post I tested the UI with an account that I never used for posting so I saw the button.
Deleting an account would probably delete all the posts as well, which can mess up topics. Users should probably have at least an âAnonymoize my accountâ. I didnât see that, but administrators have access to the âAnonymize Userâ button on profiles. If you really want to remove all personal data and username from your account, anonymization is an option, but I never had to do that since Iâm here.
If you just want to use a new account with a new username, we can also merge old accounts to new ones if both accounts ask for merging.
