Hello!
I was wondering if anyone knew how to delete/change the ID that is being assigned to my uplink gateway? I tried removing and re-installing docker/compose, but it still gave me the same ID and I need a new one.

Hello!

The original post and the response are confusing. I read both and understand nothing.
@izon2025 please provide more details that help us to understand how your situation is and what you try to archive. Especially: what is âgateway uplink IDâ supposed to mean?
Hi Metin - thank you for jumping in! I am new to this, so I will do my best to provide everything necessary to inform everyoneâs perspective.
I am using docker to run a remote camera uplink on a Raspberry Pi 5 . The uplink download can be found here: https://downloads.cloud-vms.com. The uplink is serving as a gateway to bring cameras from remote site(s) on to a cloud vms platform from the same company.
I was able to get everything working, but accidentally deleted the gateway from the cloud VMS web interface and now, when I try to readd it, I am given an error. I am guessing (possibly incorrectly) that the only unique thing is the Gateway ID (shown in the attached picture) and the cloud vms is somehow caching that ID and not allowing it to be used twice or something to that effect.
Please let me know if this is sufficient information or if I can provide anything else.
Again, thank you for jumping in and helping to guide this quest.
Now your first post makes more sense. I am still indecisive whether the 2nd post is an ai generated hit-and-miss response, as it is very vague and basically tells you to wipe everything and start from scratch.
Your problem is not related to docker mechanics, but instead is about function aspects of a containerized application.
I am afraid you will either need to wait until someone who actually uses it responds, or get in touch with the maintainer of the containerized application, or the image maintainer.
For future visitors: It was an AI generated post later updated to include a spam link so it was removed if anyone is looking for the âsecondâ post.
