On my Win11 system, desktop cannot be restarted after it runs one time and is closed. I’ve filed an issue on the GitHub and don’t know how soon it will receive attention. My purpose here is just to let others know a work-around that is much more convenient than rebooting the PC.
Workaround: In the Task Manager Process list, right click. on processes named Docker Desktop and Docker Desktop Backend and select end process.

### Description
After running once and shutting down, double-clicking the short… cut icon does nothing.
### Reproduce
1. Run desktop
2. Shut it down
3. Try to launch it again
### Expected behavior
Should be able to launch from shortcut icon any time it isn't already running.

### Additional Info
It will launch again if I end all Docker Desktop and Docker Desktop Backend processes in Task Manager.
When running it works fine. I've been able to create images and run them in containers.

This is happening to my install too
Uninstalling & reinstalling (no reboot needed) gets it running again, but the moment i reboot Windows, back to failing to load
Tried rolling back to 4.34.1, but got the same error:
deploying WSL2 distributions
ensuring main distro is deployed: checking if main distro is up to date: checking main distro bootstrap version: getting main distro bootstrap version: open \wsl$\docker-desktop\etc\wsl_bootstrap_version: The network name cannot be found.
checking if isocache exists: CreateFile \wsl$\docker-desktop-data\isocache: The network name cannot be found.
Did in in-app upgrade to 4.34.2 and the engine started without issue, so did a clean / purge of data which completed successfully.
Quit the app and relaunched, back to not working.
Looking at some of the AppData stuff, i don’t appear to have the folders and files referrenced in a log on articles, such as /AppData/Roaming/Docker/settings.json .
4.34.2 was the first time i’ve installed Docker Desktop; no prior versions have ever been run (except for 4.34.1).
