I’ve fired a docker container, but sadly it dies right away. Docker logs doesn’t show anything. From docker export, I found out a core dump file, but opening it with gdb on the host machine says that the file cannot be executed. Can it be opened only from the “machine” that generated it? It’d be kind of a big problem since the container doesn’t live for more than one second…
for loading a core you need:
- the binary, which produced the core
- the core
- libraries used by the binary
So you could open it anywhere.
