Docker Failed to Start: File not found 'com.docker.backend.exe'

On my laptop, the Docker Desktop for Windows doesn’t start, despite all requirements such as Hyper-V and WSL2 enabled. The Docker Service is up and running but in the logs, I found these lines:

Then I have checked the installation folder and I also was unable to find com.docker.backend.exe at specified path.
I have many attempts to re-install this package and noticed that that file instantly dissappears after unpacking.

I disabled all antivirus software but it didn’t help.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Download the installation package from Official Release Notes page

  2. Launch installation via Powershell with administration permissions by command

Start-Process '.\Docker Desktop Installer.exe'  -Wait install

  1. Start Docker Desktop application

  2. Check logs file on %appdata%\Local\Docker\log.txt

  3. Check the installation folder C:\Program Files\Docker\Docker\resources
