Docker for Mac not updating to RC3-Beta18

I have two MacBook Pros each with Docker for Mac installed. Today one updated to 1.12.0-rc3-beta18. The other states that version 1.12.0-rc2-beta17 is the latest. I removed the 1.12.0-rc2-beta17 Docker app and re-downloaded but it once again shows as: 1.12.0-rc2-beta17.

Did they pull the 1.12.0-rc3-beta18 update? Seems strange I have two machines each with different versions and each stating they are at the latest version.

I have the same issue after manually installing RC2-Beta17. I did this because I had no time to install all containers (see https://github.com/docker/docker/issues/24343). Since then check for update says that “You’re up-to-date! - Docker 1.12.0-rc2-beta17 is currently the newest version available”.
