Docker not launching on my MacOS Catalina

I am new to Docker and I am trying to install Docker desktop on my macbook for work. I read up on the compatibility and I have a compatible mac. I downloaded docker desktop for mac but it is not launching on my mac.

My Mac
macOS Catalina version 10.15.7
Macbook pro (15inch mid 2012)
Processor: 2.3 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7
Memory: 16GB

Is anything wrong with my spec?

I have a similar issue with my macos catalina. When I start the installation process of the Docker.dmg, when the installation copy 1.3x gb, it stop and show “Docker.app” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash.
