DockerDesktopVM failed to start

DockerDesktopVM failed to start is driving me crazy. My work computer is a windows 10 and works perfectly installing Docker Desktop… but my personal computer will not start: BIOS virtualization is ON, Hyper-V is enabled… but when my docker starts linux containers… ERROR.

Please HELP!!!

  • Issue type -> installation and start ERROR
  • OS Version/build -> WIndows Pro
  • App version -> Docker version 19.03.8, build afacb8b

If you are using WSL i.e. in Docker Desktop > General > Use the WSL 2 based engine; make sure to install WSL 2 properly: this was the reason why Docker wasn’t running for me. I followed the instructions on this page
