[ERROR] docker-cli docker ps failed

Expected behavior

docker ps should not fail

Actual behavior

docker ps does fail

Steps to reproduce the behavior

  1. Install Docker for Mac and Run it
  2. Run the diagnostic tool

I did the following to fix:

  • click the docker icon
  • select ā€˜preferencesā€™
  • click ā€˜Uninstall / Resetā€™ tab
  • click ā€˜Reset to factory defaultā€™
