When I install Docker using apt repository I get the following error

Commands used to install docker and docker engine

Hi There,

Please check the ca-certificates.crt file, it should be present in /etc/ssl.certs directory if you are using linux based OS. If it is not present add/install ca-certificates.crt.

It seems your Docker daemon is configured to use a proxy when connecting to the Internet. Plus DNS server 8.8.8.8 is configured, which might not be able to resolve an internal proxy server, or is not accessible at all internally.

Check Docker doc about proxy and check if it’s configured correctly. Check via ping if the proxy can be resolved.
