Location of Docker storage?

The Rub

I’d like to exclude Docker’s storage (volumes, images, etc) from my backups in Time Machine. Where does Docker store these?

Does (Whale), “Settings…”, “Exclude VM from Time Machine backups” do the job? (Haven’t tried myself, but it should…)

In case anyone else is wondering I believe this is the location for the data files:
~/Library/Containers/com.docker.docker/
