Lost all my volumes after moving disk image location

Docker Desktop for Windows version 3.6.0 (67351)

I have moved the disk image location from C: to D: using the Settings/Resources/Advanced menu. After restart, all of my volumes are recreated, and I have lost my data. Can I recover them somehow?

The default-path for your volumes on (non-WSL-)Windows-installations is C:\Users\Public\Documents\Hyper-V\Virtual hard disks
Maybe this helps for changing the setting back to the original value? Or copy this laaaaarge file to the new location?

Thanks for the tip, I use Docker in non-wsl mode.
There is no file in that directory, I guess it was moved to D: where I specified, as there is a ~6GB vhdx file.
