Solutions for Docker on FreeBSD?

At Discourse our only supported install is the Docker based install.

This generally works fine, but we had a user point out that it is nigh-impossible to get Docker running under FreeBSD:

I searched a lot but could not find any updates – what do we tell people using FreeBSD or OpenBSD when they can’t get Docker running? Is there any kind of future Docker support story on these operating systems?
