Specific Docker for Mac version

(JD Trout) #1

I have a colleague looking to install Docker for Mac, but would like to use 1.11.2-beta15. It would appear from the home page that only the most recent version (beta16) is available for download. Is there a link to access the dmg for the older versions of Docker for Mac?

Thanks!

Have you found a solution for this? I upgraded to 1.12 and immediately regretted my decision. I need to somehow get back to 1.11.2.

I was able to take an educated guess at the download link by appending the build number after the release version. You can download older version here:

https://download.docker.com/mac/beta/1.11.2.9168/Docker.dmg

However, this one appears to require a beta key, so your colleague may or may not be able to use it.

Ah the build number, good idea. I tried with the version, but didn’t add the build.

Thanks!

How did you get build number, @jessesuen? Or what is it for 1.12.0, the first stable release?
The same question is on Github: https://github.com/docker/for-mac/issues/444

I’m sure it’s an oversight but really stinks there isn’t a listing of older versions. I like new shiny stuff too but when a new version prevents me from getting my work done and I don’t have a good way of reverting, I’m not happy.
