Stop all Docker Services on Windows (Docker Desktop)

Hi,

When I clean boot to Windows 10, even if I dont run Docker Desktop (and it is not set to autostart), there is a service in the background called Docker Desktop Service. Anyway I can turn this off, I dont want a service running in the background as I dont know what its doing, and I dont need it. I dont want auto updates, or a fast startup etc. If I run Docker Destop then I am ok waiting for all processes to start from scratch, and then die when I have finished with it.

  1. How do I turn off the Docker Desktop Service, so it doesnt not start automatically when I start windows
  2. What is it this process doing anyway if docker is not running ?
