I had a working Docker for Desktop installation. After upgrading to the latest version, my docker wont start now. I keep getting the following error message when starting Docker Desktop:
Unable to launch Docker Desktop
An unexpected error occured whilst trying to launch Docker Desktop. This may be the result of high resource usage. Try again later.
If the issue persists, contact Docker Support
I tried all the following:
Restart the system
Re-install docker
Every single recommendations online.
i tried installing docker on a fresh new Windows 11 system and i get the same exact error.
If you can meniton some here, poeple will not need to come up with the same, already failed idea.
Unfortunately “Unexpcted error” is not much to work with. In these cases I usually link the documentation about the requirments, but you upgraded Docke rDesktop,s o if it worked before, you must habe all the requirements allready. At least I don’t now any new requirement.
The other thing I do usually is linking the troubleshooting guide that helps you collect logs and read them or share them with the developers on GitHub
It has a guid for running the dianostics from command line.
I’m also cruious about from which Docker Desktoip version you upgradded to the latest (v4.54).
If it was older than 5.52, then the topic linked by @bluepuma77 may be related. Otherwise I don1t think that is likely.
