Wsl integration with distro unexpectedly stopped with exit code 1

Hello. Couldn’t find the right answer for my problem on Google. My system is Windows 10 Pro and I got problems with WSL and docker. I got WSL installed and even installed Ubuntu on my PC, but it seems that Docker Desktop don’t want to run it properly. When I run app, I’m getting a pop-up from Docker, “WSL integration with distro unexpectedly stopped with exit code 1”. Also, after long trying to do sth (Docker Desktop), I’m getting response:

System.TimeoutException:

Docker works fine with Hyper-V. When got WSL checked on settings, my app doesn’t work properly (can’t for example run settings - loading so long). Does anyone know how to force docker work with WSL?

Have you solved this problem?

Unfortunately not. Changed WSL to Hyper-V for now.

@pheebs @janou Since just a few of us use Docker Desktop and not everyone on Windows, unless the error message contains something obvious we almost know as much as you. When you find something that looks like a bug, you can also report it on GitHub

That repository is (probably) watched by developers and not community members.

There is one thing I noticed though. In the error message there is “WSL integration”. Does it mean that you also enabled the WSL integration feature to make the Docker client available from a WSL distribution that was not created by Docker?
