The whale icon isn’t moving, I’ve tried the Factory Reset a couple times and no luck:

$ pinata diagnose -u
OS X: version 10.11.5 (build: 15F34)
Docker.app: version v1.11.1-beta12
Running diagnostic tests:
[OK] Moby booted
[OK] driver.amd64-linux
[OK] vmnetd
[OK] osxfs
[OK] db
[OK] slirp
[OK] menubar
[OK] environment
[OK] Docker
[OK] VT-x
Docker logs are being collected into /tmp/20160524-103310.tar.gz
Most specific failure is: No error was detected
Your unique id is: 71FDB4EB-1EDE-4603-9448-917CF20DD6B8

$ docker ps
Error response from daemon: Bad response from Docker engine

Any ideas?

Sorry I can’t help you with your problem, but your question helped me answer mine.

‘pinata diagnose -u’ FTW

So playing around I finally found the issue. I had to disable ESET NOD32, then do a factory reset, then it started working. I did delete my old "default’ virtualbox too, but I don’t think that had anything to do with it. I also double-check any DO* env variables and there was none, so it must have been eset.
