iI solved my problem by going into firewall add docker.exe to the list

Adding %ProgramFiles%\Docker\Docker\DockerForWindows.exe to the firewall settings didn’t make any difference for me - it still fails with the same error.

With this log entry, It implies that the VirtualMachine not available, hence the error with the Start command. As to why the vm not available, that’s a bit of a mystery, there should be a create step which I do not see in this log. Maybe there is an indication in the any preceeding logs as to why the virtualmachine was not created or failed to be created.

Then you will have a list of virtual machine in the central panel…

For thos who can’t start docker… Try to see that you are running the last build 3073
and If you use a antivirus or anything, please do tell.

I also uninstalled Docker for Windows and re-installed the latest version by downloading a fresh installer from the Docker web site. Same error and still no virtual machine.

Hi
could you follow the steps on the troubleshoot page? Stop Docker, remove/delete all DockerNat switches either using the Hyper- Manager or on an elevated powershell: get-vmswitch and then remove-vmswitch DockerNAT. Also Remove-NetNAT DockerNAT and remove-netipaddress 10.0.75.1 (the last command may fail if the IP address already got removed). and then restart the Docker application.

remove-vmswitch DockerNAT worked OK,
but remove-NetNAT and remove-netipaddress both failed:
