Docker Desktop has been “starting” for over 20 minutes now. I restarted the computer and retried, to the same effect. I use Microsoft Windows 10 Pro version 10.0.19045 Build 19045, Docker Desktop version 4.72.0 (225998), and WSL version 2.7.3.0 .
Can you provide some context? Is it a fresh installation? Did you check `docker desktop logs?
Yes, it is a fresh installation. In the meanwhile I managed to solve the problem by uninstalling Docker Desktop, and then reinstalling it from the Docker website (I think I may have installed it from the Microsoft Store originally). Additionally, during the installation process I checked the option to allow Windows containers.
