I had been running docker with VirtualBox and noticed that the Docker for Mac install instructions said that it would copy existing default containers and images to the new install. The installer prompted for Copy and Skip, I copied, it took a bit and then said it successfully copied the containers.
You’ll get the option to copy containers and images from your local default machine (if one exists) to the new Docker for Mac HyperKit VM.
Am I missing something? Resetting the env vars to default and verifying that docker is the new docker, docker images
and docker ps -a
list nothing. I can’t seem to find any trace of what it actually copied.
