I don’t expect this helps in a solution, but just in case.
I had a Visual Studio Docker-debug session running on a PC with Win11 Pro 23H2 x64 (one that is OK to burn by another stupid idea of mine without impacting my administration) and forgot to start a depending container so I tried to open desktop. Guess what it didn’t open so I came here reading.
Now the impression I got made me guess that maybe this order was maybe too complicated in windows so I decided to start over in the right order:
- ended the debug session and killed pending Docker DT sessions using the Taskmanager;
- started Docker DT again and in 15 seconds There it was!;
- started the necessary database container;
- restarted the debug session.
