Docker installation on new hardware (Windows 10 Pro 1903)

Afaik the only requirement is virtualization.

Two more ideas.
First: check if windows really sees virtualization enabled as described here
Second: try to download any kind of live Linux distro (e.g. Debian) iso and run it in virtualbox. Then tell us if it started correctly.

Do you have Windows 10 home or pro? Hyper-V is only available in pro and higher, so maybe that’s why your docker for Windows is not working and you have to use docker toolbox.
Docker for Windows uses Hyper-V, docker toolbox uses virtualbox (which doesn’t need Hyper-V)

1 - I see virtualization enabled in the task manager. My AMD Ryzen 2200U CPU is ok.
2 - If I install Ubuntu and then Docker in Ubuntu (using VirtualBox) I don’t have any problems. Docker works perfectly on Linux.
3 - I have Windows 10 Pro but I don’t want to use Hyper-V because it is incompatible with VirtualBox which is 1000 times better.
4 - I also tried to install on the PC with a working Docker Toolbox (Intel i3-8100) a version of Windows 10 Pro 1903 inside the VirtualBox software, I also tried to type the codes you recommended me:

dism.exe /Online /Disable-Feature:Microsoft-Hyper-V
bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off

But they do not solve. At the moment I quit Docker because I can’t lose all this time but I’d like to start using it again in the future. Now I use pdAdmin 4, PostgreSQL and Tomcat installed locally.
