Kitematic configuring volumes

I’m completely new to Docker, and so I’m trying to use Kitematic to get the hang of everything first.

I don’t understand how to map docker folders to local folders. I’ve made a container (for couchpotato), I can go into settings and ‘change’ a volume (e.g. /movies) to a local folder. When I click ‘select folder’ the container just says ‘updating’ and won’t change. If I restart Kitematic, the container has disappeared.

Any help?

Fixed it

In docker settings I had to tick ‘shared’ next to the drive I was trying to set the folder to (under ‘shared drives’.

Is that all you did? I’m getting the same response even though my drive is shared.
