I’ve been playing with Docker on the Personal plan, making fair usage of Gordon.
For the first time after some trouble-shooting of a misbehaving paper-ngx install, making Gordon earn his keep, I got the following message:
" You are about to consume all your tokens. To avoid interruptions, upgrade your plan. See pricing"
However I haven’t been able to find any reference to tokens for Gordon at all.
Can anyone tell me what the Gordon token situation is for the free plan please, especially when they reset?
Thanks for reading (and, hopefully, answering!
I don’t know about tokens either, but agents usually have limits, so it would not be surprising if Gordon had that. I could not find info about that yet, but I am trying.
G’day Akos, thanks for the reply mate. I’m not surprised in the slightest there are limits - in fact, if anything, I’m surprised I only just found them! (I have been having fun with Gordon, being a total noob to Docker, and am really impressed with what he can do)
I’m just curious as to what they are, so I can be more careful in future to avoid running into them, and to know when I can get back to learning with Gordon - and if there’s enough of a benefit to make me upgrade my plan - being retired, my money is pretty tight, so I have to be careful.
OK, I’ve just given Gordon a new task, (continue setting up paperless-ngx, ollama etc, and no warning about tokens yet, so hopefully they’ve reset!
I’d still like a official reply though.
I asked about it internally after I wanted to ask Gordon about how many tokens I have left. Unfortunately Gordon didn’t work for me this time, which I also try to solve. I bookmarked this topic to not forget about it and hopefully I can return after the weekend with some new info. If token limits exist, I will recommend adding it to the documentation.
Until that you could try what I could not because of my other Gordon issue and ask Gordon whether it knows about token limits and if it can tell you the status. Some agents have commands to show the status. That’s why I wanted to try it with Gordon.
