Docker Community Installer 2.1.0.5 failed to start the docker desktop service

I had docker desktop for windows version 2.1.0.4 installed on my Windows 10 Professional machine. After taking the windows updates, the next day my Docker Desktop service stopped.

I downloaded the latest version 2.1.0.5 but the installer failed to start the service.

I also downloaded the edge version 2.1.6.0 and the same issue is coming up.

Any ideas about the root cause, i have searched everywhere and i can’t find any solution and moreover there are no logs apart from the same message shown in the screenshot.
