Docker Desktop 4.39 | Fails WSL integration

I’ve just updated DDesktop to the latest version and I’m able to run the first WSL distribution D01 (Win11).
But when I try to work with distribution D02, DDesktop always open D01 in the dashboard:
Here are my steps:

• When Docker desktop (DD) starts, the dashboard shows the images in my default distribution D01,
• Then I setup my second distribution D02 as default; checked with WSL --list
• In DD > Resources > WSL Integration: the checkbox “Enable integration with my default distro” is checked (and nothing else).
• Finally when I reboot DD the dashboard always shows D01 (instead of D02) - why?

Issues with Docker Desktop and WSL 2 Integration

WSL2 and WSL2 distribution is not the same. WSL2 is the platform for Linux distributions on Windows. You need to install a WSL2 Linux distribution. You can install distributions from the Microsoft Store, but if I remember correctly, you can also open the Start menu, search for “bash” and when you first start it, it will install a default distribution and will ask you to create a user.
