Since Windows 1607, both HyperV and Containers are supported. Yet the Docker Desktop for Windows installer requests Windows 10 1703 for installation. Does this mean that all Windows 10 2016 LTSB installations are locked out and need to use the older Docker Toolbox?
Are there any technical limitations, which require 1703?
EDIT: Docker Toolbox even recommends the newer app if Windows 10 build 14393 (1607) or later is used, which does not match the installer requirements (15063).
If you have a newer system, specifically 64bit Windows 10 Pro, with Enterprise and Education (1607 Anniversary update, Build 14393 or later), consider using Docker Desktop for Windows instead.
