Docker Fails to Start - Virtual Machine Platform Not Enabled (Diagnostics ID: DAAE67F2...)

Issue Summary:
Docker Desktop is stuck on “Starting Docker Engine…”, and later fails with a message saying “Virtual Machine Platform not enabled”.

What I’ve tried:

  • Ran: Enable-WindowsOptionalFeature -Online -FeatureName VirtualMachinePlatform -All
  • WMI repository checked (winmgmt /salvagerepository) → Status: consistent
  • BIOS virtualization is enabled
  • Tried through “Windows Features” as well
  • Restarted system multiple times

Please help troubleshoot or review logs.
