Docker STABLE installer not running windows 7

Hi,
New to docker but cannot seem to start the docker installer at all. I get these error messages in the windows events manager. Anyone else experience this under windows 7 ?
Thanks Chris

How are you installing this?

Docker for Windows is not supported on Windows 7, you should use Docker Toolbox if you can’t upgrade to Windows 10: https://docs.docker.com/toolbox/toolbox_install_windows/

Hi friism,

I simply went to the main docker site:
https://www.docker.com/docker-windows

Humm seems the site updated… I just saw the asterisks (windows 10 only).
Odd that the installer just crashes though, you would think it would simply say unsupported OS version at least.

Well thanks for the link, I can finally get started.
Chris

If you run it from command line you get the following message

Failed to install: Windows version not compatile. Check documentation for minimal requirements.
