Portainer not recognising new passwords

Having opened the admin page for my Asustor NAS, I saw there were updates for both Docker and Portainer. I updated both. My LMS (Lyrion) container didn’t start, so I tried to get into Portainer to manually start it. It refused my old password, so I went through the process of creating a new one, which appeared to work correctly. It refused that too. I’ve tried three times without success.

How can I get round this? Do I have to re-install Portainer?

PS: I have now been able to SSH into the NAS and manually start the LMS container.

PSS: Having come back to it an hour later, it accepted the password and let me in. Very strange.

So it works now? In general this seems like an application specific question, not really related to Docker, so a Portainer forum might be a better fit to get an answer.
