Problem with logging in

Error response from daemon: failed to resolve reference “docker.io/library/postgres:latest”: failed to do request

I encountered a problem when logging into an account in docker response, I am redirected to the browser, after confirmation, I am thrown back into the application, but the account was not logged in

For some reason it happens from time to time and I still don’t know how to permanently solve it. But your question actually has two parts. One is that you try to log in and you are still not logged in when you are redirected from the browser. The other is that you get “failed to resolve reference”, so I’m even more clueless than usually.

First please explain how the link is related to the login issue.

As a very general advice, I can recommend restarting Docker Desktop or stopping it, moving the .docker folder to another location (or removing it if you have nothing changed there) and start Docker DEsktop again. You can a lso use “docker login” from the terminal.
