Docker has been ported to arm64 but there are some processes which are still running under Rosetta2. One of them running permanently is com.docker.osxfs. In Preferences there is an option called “Use gRPC FUSE for file sharing. Uncheck to use the legacy osxfs file sharing instead.” Well, I have chosen to use FUSE but the process is still running. Can it be stopped?
There is also a new experimental Feature: “Use new virtualization framework. Enables the new Big Sur virtualization.framework instead of the hypervisor.framework. You must reset your Kubernetes cluster when enabling for the first time.” Does this mean that instead of QEMU it will be using the Apple hypervisor?
