Unable to run Docker for Windows

All,

I am trying to get Docker for Windows to run on Windows 10 Enterprise Edition. Docker 1.12

Everything seems to install fine but when I try to start the service I get Docker Daemon is unable to start.

Virtualization is turned on. Hyper-V Feature is on. Everything seems to be running.

Any ideas? I have been trying for the past few months. Nothing seems to work.
Thank you in advance for your help and advice!

Please run the in-app diagnostics and open an issue here: https://github.com/docker/for-win/issues

Done. Opened case with ID included

I had a similar issue. It was related to having the right BIOS features enabled on the turned on, and then rebooting.

I checked my BIOS setting previously. Virtualization is turned on. Are there any other features that may need to be adjusted? If so, please share which ones.

Thank you!

Noting that this could be different on your machine (mine is a ThinkPad Yoga 12), I had changed two settings, but I apologize since I’m not sure which one did the trick. Enable virtualization switch by itself isn’t enough. I think it was a seucrity setting. Here is what I have set in BIOS:

Config->CPU->Core Multi-Processing ENABLED
Config->CPU->Intel Hyper Threading ENABLED
Security->Intel Virtual Technology ENABLED
Security->Intel VT-d Feature ENABLED

I checked and even updated BIOS on my PC. Still the same issue. Default VM in VirtualBox throw kernel panic error when trying to run.
