Update Error when Updating Docker

Expected behavior

Should be updated and restarted when necessary

Actual behavior

Error message when it’s trying to extract the download file:
An error occurred while extracting the archive. Please try again later.


I can’t remember how I get my last update works. This error happens to me every time when there is an update.

OS X: version 10.11.3 (build: 15D21) version: v1.11.1-beta14.5.m
Running diagnostic tests:

[OK] slirp
[OK] menubar

Steps to reproduce the behavior

  1. Just update through the ‘Check for update’ or update by itself automatically

Can confirm the same happens for me everytime on Mac OSX 10.11.5

I just uninstall docker then reinstall. But you have to do this every time a new update comes out.

I had a similar error, and was surprised when a reboot cleared the issue; as it turned out, I was having trouble with multiple .dmg files, not just docker.
