I can’t remember how I get my last update works. This error happens to me every time when there is an update.
OS X: version 10.11.3 (build: 15D21)
Docker.app: version: v1.11.1-beta14.5.m
Running diagnostic tests:
[OK] Moby booted
Docker logs are being collected into /tmp/20160611-184531.tar.gz
Most specific failure is: No error was detected
Your unique id is: 2F3E5AEB-3746-453C-892D-08BAEDE7368F
Steps to reproduce the behavior
- Just update through the ‘Check for update’ or update by itself automatically
Can confirm the same happens for me everytime on Mac OSX 10.11.5
I just uninstall docker then reinstall. But you have to do this every time a new update comes out.
I had a similar error, and was surprised when a reboot cleared the issue; as it turned out, I was having trouble with multiple .dmg files, not just docker.
On my MacBook Air 11" mid 2012, trying to update Docker failed repeatedly, and each time, it froze the computer. I was finally able to update Docker by deleting the old version, downloading the new version from the site with Safari, (When downloaded with Chrome, the .dmg file wouldn’t work.) Then, dragging the icon from the mounted dmg to the applications folder.
Same error here, I am not sure if this is caused by the version of the OSX v10.15.3 or by some security app like carbon black or Symantec endpoint protection, no notification received besides the docker Update Error message (please try again later) It seems I am stuck on docker 126.96.36.199 (38240) for a while now.
Anyone has found I workaround for this issue?
