After a fresh install, if there is not enough memory available for the VM to start (2GB), it fails with an error message, the tray icon turns red and the VM in Hyper-V is stopped.
If access settings to re-adjust the assigned memory and lower it to 1GB, for example, the operation is successful, the tray icon turns white and the VM in Hyper-V is started.
The first paragraph goes as it should and no issue there. After the memory re-assignment, the operation is reported as successful, the tray icon turns white but the VM doesn’t get started. If the VM is started manually in Hyper-V manager, things start to work again as they should.
