I’m, uh, not quite sure what to do here:
Why would I want com.docker.backend.exe to communicate across my Private networks? What exactly would it be doing? Why would it want that access?
I’m just trying to learn Docker for Windows again.

I decided to disable it, but then noticed there’s two instances of com.docker.backend in Windows Defender Firewall… one checked for Private and the other checked for Public.
Why are there two instances? I don’t think I’ve installed Docker on this computer before… maybe when I had Windows 7. However, I don’t remember ever authorizing the Public setting, I suppose I should remove it.
If I try to remove Private from the first instance… the OK button grays out in Choose Network Types:
Maybe this is a Windows question… is anyone experience at Docker with Windows Firewall? I really don’t know what to do, but I don’t want unnecessary security risk, and I don’t know what leaving it enabled will do.
I’ve just had this exact popup this morning out of nowhere and despite the fact I’m using Norton 360 so I’m treating with suspicion.
