Tried to update the docker desktop by clicking the restart & update button, but after the window closed, nothing happened. So I clicked the Privileges button, activating the sudo access - after the docker desktop window closed, an authentication window opened to enter my password and the update was done. Hope it helps others (and maybe myself in the future)
