Issue in version 4.69.0

Observed Behavior:
Task Manager displays 3 persistent Docker Desktop instances.
Docker never initializes.
Startup is inconsistent - occasionally succeeds after >10 minutes of hanging.

Environment:
System 1: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D / 64GB RAM / Windows 11.
System 2: Intel i7 / 32GB RAM / Windows 11.

Conclusion:
Resource starvation is not the root cause. The issue is isolated to the 4.69 release - downgrade to 4.68 fixes the issue

I see today’s update - 4.70 probably fixes that →

  • Fixed an issue where Docker Desktop failed to launch for users with DEVHOME set in their environment.
