I tried clean slate uninstall and install and removed VirtualBox as well, but it doesn’t help. Any suggestions?

Edit: running the command “VBoxManage hostonlyif remove vboxnet2” removed the additional interface that was causing the problem.

Open Virtualbox, click File -> Preferences -> Network -> Host-only Network, remove Vboxnet#
