Using Docker Desktop to login to Docker is unreliable. Supplying correct details through the UI realizes the message “Incorrect authentication credentials”.
This occurs with both 2FA and non-2FA accounts.
The workaround is to use Terminal to login, remembering to use the personal access token for 2FA accounts instead of the chosen password.
